If you've never used a mobile tyre fitting service before, you might not know quite what to expect. Here's an honest, step-by-step walkthrough of what happens.
Step 1: Booking
You can book via our website contact form or by phone. We'll ask for your vehicle registration (so we can confirm the correct tyre size), your location, your preferred date and time window, and any relevant details about the situation (flat tyre, routine change, etc.).
Step 2: Confirmation
We'll confirm your booking and — where possible — give you a specific arrival window. For planned bookings this is typically a two-hour window. For emergency callouts, we'll give you a realistic ETA at the time of calling.
Step 3: The Technician Arrives
Our technician will arrive in a branded Vantage van. They'll introduce themselves, confirm the vehicle and job, and position the van safely. They'll need access to the wheels — so clear any obstacles if the vehicle is on a narrow driveway.
Step 4: The Fitting
The technician removes the wheel, takes the old tyre off the rim, fits the new tyre, balances the wheel on the van's balancing equipment, refits the wheel, and torques the bolts to the manufacturer's specified setting. For a single tyre, this typically takes 20–30 minutes. A full set of four takes around 60–90 minutes.
Step 5: Completion
The technician will show you the old tyres (so you can see the wear or damage), confirm the work done, and take payment. They'll dispose of the old tyres responsibly — there's no need to find somewhere to dump them.
